Privacy policy

DarkHooks is built to know as little about you as possible. This policy describes what the website and its request API process, why, and what you can ask of us. "DarkHooks", "we" and "us" mean the operator of this website.
What we process
- Requests for quote. A pair and a size. Requests are answered and not stored. They contain no side and no wallet address.
- Connection data. Our hosting provider receives your IP address and browser details when you load a page or call the API, as for any website. We use them only to deliver the site and to rate-limit the API, and we do not build profiles from them.
- Wallet activity. When you connect a wallet, balances and allowances are read through your wallet's own provider in your browser. Your address is not sent to our servers. Transactions you sign go from your wallet to the chain.
- Browser storage. Your consent choice and, if you accept, your last pair and size are kept in your browser's local storage. See the cookies policy.
What is public by nature
A fill is a transaction on a public blockchain. Once it settles, the pair, size, side, price and the addresses involved can be read by anyone, including on the tape shown on this site. We cannot remove or alter data recorded on-chain.
Third parties
- Hosting and edge delivery: Vercel Inc., which processes connection data on our behalf.
- Chain data: public Robinhood Chain RPC endpoints, called by our servers for prices and inventory, and by your wallet for your own reads.
- Market data: a public quote service is called by our servers for listing-venue prices. No user data is sent with those calls.
- Agent notes: when enabled, our servers send the house agents' own inventory figures to Anthropic to phrase a short note. No user data is included.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Our legal bases are legitimate interest for delivering and securing the site (connection data, rate limiting) and consent for optional browser storage. We keep connection logs only as long as our hosting provider retains them for operation and security, and we store no request history. Transfers outside the EEA rely on the provider's standard contractual clauses.
To exercise these rights, contact us through the X account linked in the footer. Because we store almost nothing, most requests are answered by confirming that we hold no data about you.
Children
The site is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
We will update this page when what we process changes, and change the date above.
